I’m Millie

​

I'm currently a freelance Studio runner working in sports and entertainment, based in London, with a first-class degree in Film and TV Production specialising in Producing. I was also given the award for Excellence at the end of year show.

 

I have experience in small multi-camera live productions as well as producing micro-budget short films. My focus for my creative projects is on showing ordinary stories in extraordinary ways, using television as a tool to spark connection, empathy, and change across the UK.

My passion for Film and TV began in childhood, when I found joy in creating performances for my family, seeing the happiness they brought made me realise the power of storytelling. When I was diagnosed with dyslexia and began to struggle in school, TV, film and theatre became more than a hobby; there was a way for me to learn, express myself, and stay optimistic that I was worth more than my grades. This passion became a purpose to turn my instinct for creating joy into a career that I love.

Since moving to London, I’ve embraced my practical undergraduate degree, engaging in theatre, film festivals, and building a creative network. I’ve found new interests in industries like football, discovering wide-ranging opportunities for media on and off the pitch. This drive secured me opportunities at the BBC and IMG’s Premier League productions.
